50 Cent may be drawing attention for his controversial documentary centered on Diddy, but one of his long-standing feuds has once again taken center stage.
On Monday, December 15, the G-Unit boss set his sights on Jim Jones after Jones publicly criticized his involvement in the docuseries Sean Combs: The Reckoning during an episode of the Let’s Rap About It podcast. The show is co-hosted by Jones alongside fellow New York rappers Maino, Fabolous, and Dave East.
During the discussion, Jones—formerly of Dipset—questioned 50 Cent’s role as an executive producer on the documentary, which explores serious allegations against Diddy, including abuse, domestic violence, exploitation, and long-standing rumors surrounding the deaths of 2Pac and The Notorious B.I.G..
Standing up for Diddy, Jones argued that the project crossed a line, saying that no one would want a documentary designed to portray their entire character in a negative light. He dismissed the series as petty and went as far as calling it more of a “mockumentary” than a legitimate investigation.
50 Cent wasted little time responding. Taking to Instagram, he fired off a harsh message aimed at Jones, implying blind loyalty to Diddy and delivering one of his trademark shock-value insults. He followed up by ridiculing Jones further, reposting unflattering photos of the rapper posing with celebrities like JAY-Z, Pusha T, and Gervonta Davis, along with a headline referencing Jones’ reported financial troubles.
The attacks didn’t stop there. In a separate post, 50 also went after Maino, Fabolous, and Dave East, accusing the podcast hosts of owing significant money for their recording space while spending more time on fashion than finances.
While Jones, Fabolous, and Dave East have remained silent so far, Maino decided to respond directly. Posting an edited image of 50 Cent reimagined as a woman, the Brooklyn rapper struck back with sarcasm, acknowledging past gratitude for 50’s help early in his career—while making it clear he was ready to escalate the feud.
“Fuck Is The Problem Curtis? What Has Your G Unit G- String In a Bunch N*gga? Is It The Bitch Or The Diabetes? But Let’s Rap About It!!!”
50 Cent and Jim Jones’ feud reignited earlier this year after the former appeared on Cam’ron‘s YouTube show Talk With Flee and ridiculed Capo for being used as a pawn during his high-profile beef with Cam in the late 2000s.
Explaining how he manipulated Jones, who at the time was one of Cam’ron’s closest cohorts, into performing with him — a move Cam called a “checkmate moment” — 50 sneered: ““I just took the shot ’cause I wasn’t sure [Jim Jones] was going to go for it. I was like, ‘We like Jimmy better than you anyway, Cam!’

“You gotta watch and see how he responds. And then you see, ‘Aw shit, he really likes that!’ Tell him, ‘We want you at the show, Jim! That was one of those things where I just threw it out and see what would happen. And he bit.”
Jones later fired back at 50 Cent and Cam’ron on Justin Laboy’s Respectfully podcast, saying: “Them n-ggas be on my dick. Them n-ggas ain’t got nothing else to think about but Capo.
“I did a lot for them n-ggas in their life, ya heard? Both of them. Pause, though. Get off my dick! It’s only space on there for baby girl. Come on, man. Tugging on my shit like that.”
He added: “Them n-ggas [in G-Unit] couldn’t even dress, but [50] had a platform for me to perform on in front of thousands of people in New York. Yeah, I’m taking that.”
