Rubi Rose and Carter Davis ‘NORD’, a Platinum Certified Songwriter from Oregon

Rubi Rose

This Oregonian teenager has officially been certified as an RIAA Platinum musician, with songwriting credits in industry-shaking collaborative projects that have a cumulative listen count of more than one billion. When Carter Davis was born in the rainy city of Portland, he knew he would be something great, with signs of elevated musical ability and an innate sense for creative writing shining throughout his early childhood. Just two years ago in August 2021, the impressively young rapper and artist started publishing original music of his own under his social media influencer persona, which he would name NORD.

Rap icons such as Drake, 21 Savage, and Ice Spice are among some of the industry stronghold collaborators that Carter has previously worked alongside in the context of songwriting and music production. More recently, feminist R&B and Trap artist Rubi Rose has reportedly begun a collaborative project with the Oregon rapper and lyricist. One of the key ideals that NORD frequently promotes to his more than one million Instagram followers is the equal opportunity and treatment of women talent in the music industry and beyond. This is why many iconic, influential female figures get along so well with Carter; he understands the struggle of discrimination that women have faced globally and continually have to deal with in many aspects on a regular basis.

In addition to this major collaboration that’s currently underway between NORD and Rubi Rose, the diligent songwriter has found great success in making a notable name for himself in the mainstream world of Hip Hop, Pop, and R&B inspired music. His most recent single, titled ‘MOLLY’, sits at more than one hundred and fifty thousand listens on Spotify alone as of the publication of this article.
